BERJAYA Philippines Rising To The Challenge

As COVID-19 pandemic sweeps across the world, the role of the private sector is encouraging even if their businesses have to step back during the crisis.  Even in the midst of challenging times, through philanthropy, donations are being made directly to recipients without much fanfare but the sheer desire to help especially for the welfare of the medical front liners. 

Rising to the challenge is BERJAYA PHILIPPINES who as of 31 May 2020 have donated a total value of One Million Pesos (MYR 85,000) by donating Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) to various hospitals namely The Medical City in Pasig City, St. Dominic Hospital in Bacoor Cavite, St. Martin de Porres Charity Hospital in San Juan City, East Avenue Medical Center in Quexon City, St. Camillus Medical Center in Pasig City, Lucena United Doctors Hospital in Quezon Province. The donations were coursed through Gawad Kalinga Chairman Luis Oquiñena who personally distributed the PPE’s to the aforementioned hospitals.
